What a week! What a wedding! Rushi and Vaidehi’s beautiful Zambezi riverside wedding was the finale to a week long affair of celebrations and ceremonies – of friends and families meeting to honour and celebrate these two very special people. Victoria Falls town came alive with the festivities and on the 26th April the calm blues and greens of the Zambezi river were accented by the cheerful vibrancy of garlands and saris and kurtas from all the shades of the rainbow. After Rushi and Vaidehi had said their vows and completed their seven steps it was time for group photos with all the guests, lunch on the banks of the river and then a short break ahead of the evening reception which was a fantastically festive affair. I couldn’t believe Vaidehi’s dress could get any more beautiful – and then she arrived at the reception looking like a princess, her dashing groom at her side equally princely. After some tear-jerking speeches it was time for some dance floor action and how lovely it was to have so many different generations on the dance floor.
Rushi and Vaidehi – Matt and I so enjoyed getting to know you both and your lovely families and friends over your wedding week. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and we wish you all the very best for what we know will be such a happy future together.
I’ll let the photos do the talking – for now we’re just sharing the wedding day highlights – hopefully more from the wedding week to follow soon 🙂 A huge well done to Pure Africa Weddings for putting together such a phenomenal day.
