Claire and Bruce’s wedding day marked the beginning of their move back to their home of Zimbabwe after many years away in the UK. Friends and family descended from all over the world to meet together under bright Victoria Falls skies and watch these two begin their Zimbabwean chapter.
While the wedding was inland surrounded by the beautiful mopane forests and peeping bushbuck of The Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, we mixed things up with a quick drive to the Zambezi river for the couples’ bridal shoot. Bruce spent many years of his childhood on this special river so he wanted to bring a bit of that magic in. Because of light issues and also the park closing at 6pm it was a super quick photo shoot but I’m sure you’ll agree that these two managed to really make the most of their Zambezi outing.
After the river we spent sometime with the bridal party and then it was off to the Reception to join the festivities at The Boma. And then to everyone’s delight, later in the evening there was a silent disco – which meant that this particular party lasted until dawn!
All the best with your new chapter Claire & Bruce, here is just a small slice of the photos from your happy day. Xx
