It’s a pretty special melting pot of a wedding when a Zimbabwean marries a Canadian (and they both live in Australia) across the world in a tucked away little mountain reserve in the Western Cape, South Africa.
Natalie and Cameron chose the spectacular Pat Busch Mountain Reserve in Robertson, Western Cape to begin their married life together. These two were possibly the most relaxed couple I’ve had the pleasure of working with. A totally out-of-season rain shower which began almost exactly at the start of their ceremony didn’t phase them – in fact it just seemed to add even more to the magic. And of course – it’s a guaranteed African blessing! Threatening rain clouds didn’t leave us long for the bride & groom photos, but we did manage a beautiful walk up to the dam where the clouds rolled over the hills and the fynbos and its delicate flowers steamed from the recent showers.
Nats and Cam, thank you for trusting me with the photos for this beautiful day of yours. It was so exciting for me to photograph in a new place and it was super getting to meet all your lovely friends and family.
